Designers Think Design

An experimental motion graphics piece on the subject of Design Research and the future of Design. AppleScript code was used to execute a screen capture every twelve seconds, resulting in over 1,000 images of an improvisational performance that took over three hours. The purpose of this video, in both its message and its method of delivery, is to inspire designers in traditional fields to question how they might become less dependent on conventional tools and more aware of designerly ways of knowing. The piece should be played at full screen on a Mac laptop.
